An impressive rosewood Regency Bracket Clock

This is an impressive rosewood twin fusee Regency bracket clock by Joseph Johnson of Liverpool from the early 19th Century. The case has been conserved and not over-restored, leaving a wonderful patina commensurate with its age. An Art Deco Sunburst Clock

An Art Deco sunburst clock with a French 8 day movement by Japy Freres. The finish has mellowed to a rich golden colour and there seems to be no sign of recent over-painting. The movement has been overhauled and retains its original escapement. As Japy Freres ceased in the 1930s, we feel that this clock is right and a fine example.
